Gem's honeycomb cardboard panels of are designed to meet the needs of the companies that use this technology.

The size of our cell is designed to be used for both door panels and also furniture panels. The panels made with are honeycomb cardboard can be produced with thickness starting from 8mm and up.

The holes of our honeycomb cell are so that it is possible to press the panels several times, with both hot and cold presses.

Gem's honeycomb cardboard can be produced in innumerable lengths and widths, in order to satisfy all needs. Our honeycomb cardboard is available for single-panel or continuous, for those customers that use mechanical extenders.

Gem produces two types of honeycomb cardboard made with havana paper in the following versions:

• Kraft 2 (KR2) which weighs 230 gr/sqm. This paper offers the best performance for the most common applications in the production of wood sandwich panels;

• Kraft 3 (KR3) which weighs 220 gr/sqm, and offers excellent performance at reasonable prices.

Beside this we can to produce honeycomb using havana cardboard of other weights, depending on the customer’s needs.

Gem's honeycomb. can be accompanied (on request) by a data sheet that can certify mechanical strength, biocompatibility and total recyclability.
