HONEYCOMB CARDBOARD
Cardboard honeycomb, made of different widths and thickness, in single or "continuous" panel.
GEM produces two types of honeycomb cardboard made with KRAFT havana paper of different weights, with the aim of ensuring:
- the best performance for the most common applications in the production of honeycomb panels;
- excellent performance at reasonable prices.
GEMCO PANEL
SANDWICH PANELS IN ALVEOLAR CARDBOARD
GEMCO PANEL, a sandwich made of open (extended) honeycomb with a sheet of paperboard covering both side of the open honeycomb cells.
The heart of the panel is made with GEM honeycomb cardboard customized to meet the specific requirements, in terms of measurements, cell size, type of paper used and processing method.
The outer casing can also be customized: the customer defines the type of paper used - including the most common Test-Liner or Kraft-Liner and colored cards - and the weight.
GEM products are eco-friendly,
compression-resistant, well-machined
and extremely versatile.
The GEM products offer high performance for various applications. The technology used during processing allows to conduct an efficient manufacturing process, while protecting the environment.

TECHNOLOGY
Our Company,
a 40-years history.
GEM, based in the Republic of San Marino, was founded in 1977 for the production of cardboard honeycomb for tambourine panels.
Over the years, the production activity has been intensified and new technologies are adopted for processing; the plant used for production currently occupies an area of about 2.000 square meters.
A 40-years experience in honeycomb cardboard production, with an awareness in technological development of production methods and the constant use of high quality raw materials, has made of GEM a leading manufacturer in the italian market.
Since 2017 GEM has been using its honeycomb cardboard for the production of sandwich panels in alveolar cardboard.
